With improved power and speed over their previous B6, Alpina debuted their BMW Alpina B6 S Cabrio Supercharge model with a new supercharger lighter design.
The new supercharger is a mechanically driven turbo charger and not a compressor type and since developing this engine Alpina has sold around 1,500 models. This same engine is used on the 5 series, 6 series and 7 series The 7 series will shortly be exported to America.
This model also has a new lighter carbon fiber hood which weighs ten percent less than the previous hood for improved speed.
