what are lables?

A label search is a very user friendly way to present related posts in a blog to  readers.  With various posts having multiple labels, they would be presented for any label search for any of those labels.

A label search presents multiple cross linked subjects.

If your blog  covers many subjects, with many posts in each subject, labels are very valuable in presenting related posts to your readers.



Here's how you use Labels.

• Write a post, and assign it to a label.
• Use a Labels Index. Add a page element, in the sidebar, as a Label list.
  • Add a page element, select Labels.
  • Add a label index in a page, if the labels index makes your sidebar too large.
  • Position the list anywhere you wish.
• Show the labels for each post, in the post footer.
  • Enable the Labels list
  • Your readers can look at the end of the post, for all labels applied to each post.
  • Look at the Topics list at the bottom of this post.
• You can maintain your labels (add, change, delete), for the entire blog, by using the post editor menu
