Old school but real fun; I don’t know if new generation are aware of the DOS commands and how interesting it was using in the late 20th century. Couple of BlackBerry Abusers at CrackBerry forums were trying to port the DOS-BOX source files to work onto BlackBerry® PlayBook and finally one of the member finished the project to run DOS on BlackBerry PlayBook.
- Download ‘DosBox’ from the link providing
- Install the BAR file onto your PlayBook
- Run DosBox
- You need to mount a desired drive for BlackBerry® PlayBook drive by entering syntax:
- mount c /accounts/1000/shared (Where ‘c’ is the C: drive)
There are even possibilities to install Windows 95 or even Windows 98. We will post another video if we end up doing it.
